Cardax FT
Cardax FT is a flexible and scalable integration platform for access control, (intrusion) alarming, CCTV based on DVR, perimeter security, elevator control and much more. Cardax systems are known worldwide for their reliability, virtually unlimited flexibility and user friendliness. Cardax FT is suitable for applications in Windows 2003, XP Professional and Vista Business/Enterprise and uses the Microsoft SQL-Server 2005 Express SP2.
Cardax FT is suitable for very small as well as very comprehensive and is ideal for companies expecting to grow. Cardax can be upgraded and expanded very easily without having to disgard existing system components.
Cardax FT can be distinguished from other systems due to its comprehensive security features:
- Cardax features its own and complete secure access control protocol.
- Cardax manages facility codes centrally which makes duplication impossible.
- Cardax monitors the communication between the card reader and controller and detects unauthorised access as well as irregularities.
- Cardax consistently checks the integrity of the card reader.
- Data transmission is protected by SSL-encryption as a standard
Cardax FT - a solution without surprises
Cardax FT offers full functionality, also for the smallest systems. There is no need to buy functionality through expensive options.
Cardax FT is delivered with all licences required to run the system, including a licence for 16 doors and one workstation. Additional licences are only required in the following cases:
- per door, if more than 16 doors are used
- per user, if more than one log-on is requested simultaneously
- Trophy FT per controller
- Photo-ID
- Online-Manager
- Biometrics, if the Sagem readers are not delivered by Gallagher
Cardax FT Command Centre
Command Centre is the management software used to configure Cardax FT and for System Management. In addition the Command Centre is equiped with a very flexible report module. Authorised users can configure and store report templates, prepare reports and print, save or export them. Cardax FT enables you to fully automatically print an evacuation report on a pre-selected printer. Individual user rights are set-up via the Command Centre. The Command Centre works in the background and is not required for the actual functioning of the system.
All incidents are logged and can be accessed at a later time. The system user can stipulate the time limit for saving the log.
Alarms can be processed in various ways. If alarms are not attended to in time, they may be escalated automatically.
Cardax FT may be configured with different divisions. This is particularly practical for buildings with multiple tenants or very extensive systems.
Cardax FT XtraSec
Cardax FT Xtrasec is a version with increased encryption levels. As standard, Cardax FT-Systems use 40 Bit-encryption, Xtrasec however uses 168 Bit-encryption.
XtraSec requires special controllers equipped with authentication. Line-encryption packages with Start of Line and End of Line Modules secure the communication between Cardax FT-inputs and detection modules (i.e.: PIR).
OPC
The open design of Cardax FT-Systems enables connections to external systems, such as a Building Management System. For this purpose Gallagher supplies a SDK.
XML
Connections to external data bases are possible via XML. For this purpose Gallagher supplies a SDK.
DVR-Integration
Imaging-Systems from third parties are integrated into Cardax FT via DVR. New high-level interfaces are developed continuously for equipment manufactured by leading DVR suppliers. Please contact us for further information.
