Access Control

Cardax FT uses the unique and protected Cardax IV-Protocol and supports 125 KHz- and Mifare-chip card readers. Chip card readers that use the Wiegand-Protocol can also be integrated. Cardax FT has an output-interface for Sagem-Biometric-Readers and Nedap-Long Range Readers (up to 10 m).

Cardax FT is a local system. The (access-) decisions are made by the controllers. Cardax FT stands out from other systems due to its high capacity of cardholders. The normal capacity is 30,000 and is expandable up to 46,000. Between 10,000 and 20,000 events are stored.

Users are divided into access groups. This enables simple and quick adaption of access rights. A controller can process up to 2,000 access groups.

The Command Centre processes up to 4,000 access zones. Per controller 16 access zones can be configured.

Timetables

Users can prepare accessible timetables. These can be used to allow/deny access or for other purposes, i.e.: automatically opening/closing of a door, switching on/off lighting, heating or air-conditioner, etc. A total of 200 accessible timetables can be established.

Intruder Alarm

Cardax FT features a complete intruder-alarm function. The Command Centre can monitor a maximum of 30,000 incoming alarms and control a maximum of 20,000 relays. Per controller 256 alarm zones can be established.

The alarm zones are switched on and off via chip card readers or with the aid of one or several code-operator modules. Options are in place for 4 operator modules per controller and these operator modules can be configured via a cross-system. Every authorised user has his/her own unique PIN-code that secures the verification.
Cardax FT comes standard with a contact-ID-protocol.

Open Field Protection

Cardax FT has an output-interface for Gallagher Trophy FT-Controller. Every Trophy FT-System is suitable for 3 zones. 8 Trophies can be connected with every G-Bus.
When using a 5000GL-Controller, 48 zones can be configured.

All settings of the Trophy FT-System take place from the Command Centre. An additional keypad on the fence is not required.

Fence zones can be switched on and off via the Command Centre, i.e.: with the aid of an overview plan or by using a macro.

An alarm is activated via the Command Centre and users have the option to prepare comprehensive reports of various currents (fence, accumulator, earth). The system also features a pre-alarm.

Via the Cardax FT Controller API – Senstar 100-interface, sensor-, intervention- and defect-alarms of the Senstar 100- Systems can be managed from the Cardax FT-System. Senstar 100 is a Magal Group brand.

Elevator Control

A total of 50 elevators can be operated with the Command Centre, each of them up to 75 floors. A maximum of 2 elevators can be configured per controller. Output-interfaces are in place for various elevator manufacturers.

Logic-Blocks

In addition to the extreme comprehensive standard functions, Cardax FT also features a Logic-Block-Module. The Logic-Block-Module enables the execution of time-programmed, logical functions. These functions are comparable to a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).

Easy to prepare macros are available to the user as standard. These enable the execution of numerous orders, such as the one-off programming of upcoming tasks, controlling an .exe-file, sending of emails, etc.
